Serving Winona, La Crosse, and southeastern Minnesota
Corey Koehler Media is based in Winona, Minnesota. I run Google Ads for local service businesses around here.
You work with me. Not a junior. Not a new account manager every quarter.
If ads are the wrong first spend, I will tell you that too. A local shop came to me for ads. We never ran them. Google Business Profile, the website, and reviews were enough.
Let's talk. Fill out the form and tell me about your business.

We look at your business, your website, your competition and whether ads even make sense.
Calls from real customers
People ready to hire you. Not job-seekers. Not two states over.
Month-to-month. No long-term lock-in
If we stop, no hard feelings.
Straight talk
What we count. What we do not. You will always know.
Off your plate
I am not another employee you have to manage. I run the account. You get a report. Call me if you need me.
Remodel, exterior, job-site trades. Ads for the jobs you actually want, not tire-kickers from two counties over.
HVAC, plumbing, lawn, cleaning, handy. People searching near me and today.
Hydraulic repair, towing, mobile and equipment repair. Calls from people who need you on site, not a shop two states over.
Painting, medical and dental, professional services, property work. Not restaurants. Not online stores.
Restaurants and e-commerce. Different game. I will send you elsewhere.
If ads will waste money in your town, I will say so. I would rather lose the work than burn your budget.
An Upper Midwest mobile hydraulic repair shop has run two campaigns for four and a half years. The budget stayed around $470 a month. That is not a Minneapolis spend. It is a shop spend.
Year one: eleven tracked phone calls, $242 a call. Year four: eighty-three calls, $84 a call. This year: $61.50 a call. Same kind of budget. About eight times the calls. Seventy-five percent cheaper per call.
Those are phone calls, not map-direction clicks. The easiest way to make a Google Ads account look good is to change what you count. The second easiest is to never say what you counted. We count the phone.
Call conversion went from 1.4% to 7.0%. Same business. Same service. Better traffic, aimed at the towns they actually drive to.
And sometimes ads are not the first move. A local shop asked me to run Google Ads. I told them we might not need to. We tightened the Google Business Profile, made a few website changes, and pushed reviews. We never ran ads. That was enough.
Winona, southeastern Minnesota, the towns you actually drive to. Not a 50-mile circle of junk leads.
Filter tire-kickers and job-seekers. The point is booked work, not clicks.
So we can see which ads brought work, not just which ads got clicked.
Plain English. What we spent, what came in, what I changed.
Form or calendar. About 30 minutes. I need the trade, the towns, and what a good call looks like for you.
What you show up for now. What competitors are doing. Whether paid ads are even the first move.
If the site will waste clicks, we deal with that first. If your town is cheaper to get found without paying per click, I will say that. A local shop came for ads. Google Business Profile, the website, and reviews were enough. We never ran ads.
Two different numbers: what Google charges for the clicks, and what I charge to run the account.
I will not invent a cost-per-click for Winona. It depends on the trade and how many other people are bidding on the same searches. One Upper Midwest shop has stayed near $470 a month for four and a half years. The calls got cheaper because the traffic got better, not because we pretended map clicks were leads.

I've done a lot of jobs off word of mouth over the years, but Corey helped me actually show up on Google — now people find me before I ever hear about them from someone else.

When it comes to online marketing and advertising, specially on Google and YouTube, Corey is the pro I trust and highly recommend. He has the experience, knowledge, and trustworthiness you want in a person managing your business' online ad campaigns.
No. Winona is not Minneapolis. The targeting is tight: your towns, your trade, the searches that mean someone wants to hire you. One shop I run has stayed near $470 a month for years. Eleven tracked phone calls the first year. Eighty-three in year four. Same kind of budget. What you spend still depends on your trade. We look at that on the call.
Yes. I am based in the Winona / La Crosse area. If sitting down is easier than another Zoom, we can do that.
Yes, that matters. Ads that send people to a weak site waste money. We look at that before we spend. If the page cannot take the call, that is the first conversation. Not a separate product on this page.

Yes. That is the point of the first conversation. If paying per click is the wrong first move, I will say so.
No. Different game. There are people who do that well. I am not one of them.
